My School's Cool, Shopper Rewards Program for Participating Schools

Are you looking for a way to help raise money for the school of your choice?

My School's Cool (MSC) is a community driven program committed to building relationships with local schools by giving cash to schools! Schools will compete with each other for the highest accumulation of points and earn cash rewards. So shop VALLEY HILLS MALL today and earn points for the school of your choice!

The 2009-2010 MSC program will run in semesters, Fall Semester, August 25-December 26, 2009 and Spring Semester, January 1-May 15, 2010. The awards for each semester will be as follows:

  • 1st place: $5,000
  • 2nd place: $3,000
  • 3rd place: $1,000
  • 4th place: $750
  • 5th place: $250

Your school can earn extra credit points by adopting a pet from or volunteering for the Humane Society of Catawba Valley. Click Here to visit the Humane Society of Catawba County's website for more information on the Humane Society or the pets that are currently available for adoption.

You may also earn extra credit points by participating in any of the programs offered at the Health First Center, Click Here to access their program calendar directly.

Each participating school will have a MSC Program Coordinator, who will send out information periodically to parents, teachers and students.

Carolina Kids Club

Join in on the fun with Carolina Kids Club, sponsored by Catawba Valley Medical Center! The Club consists of Animal Education, Health & Safety and Entertainment. Please see the Events Page for a detailed listing of events, or contact the Mall Office at 828-328-2436.
 

Mall Walkers Club

Walk your way to better health! Valley Hills Mall hosts the Mall Walkers program, sponsored by the Health First Center, an extension of Catawba Valley Medical Center. Valley Hills Mall offers a climate controlled environment, perfect for year-round walking. Mall entrances open at 7:00am Monday - Saturday and at 10:30am on Sunday for your walking convenience. Valley Hills Mall Supports Habitat for Humanity of Catawba Valley

Valley Hills Mall has partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Catawba Valley to work on elimination of poverty housing in our community. This is a part of a national partnership between General Growth Properties, Valley Hills mall's owner and Habitat for Humanity International.

Over the next three years, shoppers will be invited to participate in fundraising events, awareness campaigns, and volunteer opportunities to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Catawba Valley. Check out the "events section" to get details of our next Habitat for Humanity event.
